Super Cheap Do It Yourself Projects

For Father’s Day the kids got their Daddy a Patio Set, so it is up to me to figure out inexpensive ways to make it look like the ones in magazines.  Browsing Pintrest this week I found a super cheap easy way to make an awesome candle holder and had to try it myself.  You only need 2 things to make it and then of course your candle!

Need:

  • Empty clean tuna can
  • Clothespins
  • Candle

Steps:

  1. Clean out can thoroughly
  2. Pin clothespins onto can
  3. Add candle

I  picked up a pack of 36 clothespins at my local dollar store but only used 23 clothespins.  Our candle holders will actually be on the patio so we will be using Citronella candles.  Which earlier this summer we were able to score for free with a coupon.  The coupon is still available so if you take it to Walmart you can score a FREE Cutter Candle to put in your new candle holder (click here for link).

Don’t like the color?  Paint it, dip the clothespins in food coloring, the sky is the limit! GET Creative, we would love you to send us pictures of what you did with yours!  Feel free to share or pin this!!
